Have you ever thought about getting involved in ArSCA leadership? If so, please consider running for one of the open positions that will be filled for the upcoming year. The open positions include: President Elect, Elementary VP and Secondary VP. According to our bylaws, you must be employed full-time in school counseling in a K-12 school or school district for a minimum of three years to be eligible to run. Candidates must hold a valid school counselor license issued by the Arkansas Department of Education. Candidates must be ArSCA Professional Members and must have been ArSCA Professional Members for at least the three years immediately preceding their candidacy. Candidates are required to complete a yearly ArSCA Leadership Development Institute (LDI) Training. If you are interested in running for one of the open positions, please complete the candidate form and submit completed form along with a photo that will be published with your bio on the ballot by March 1, 2021. You will need to make a copy of the form to be able to type in your information. Being a part of the ArSCA leadership team is a very rewarding experience. You have the opportunity to meet and work with great counselors from across the state and be an advocate for our profession. Thank you for considering this opportunity.
