Dear Counselors,
Happy National School Counseling Week! I just want to take the time to say thank
you for all that each of you do for the students, parents, staff, and communities of
our state. “School Counselors: Helping Students Reach for the Stars,” is this year’s
theme. I know that you work tirelessly to help students dream, plan, and overcome
obstacles that might keep them from reaching their goals. I am proud to be a part of
such a great group of people. I hope you will take time this week to remind your
students about your job and the role you can serve in helping them to succeed.
Again, thank you for making a difference in the lives of our students.
